  • Check-in is after 4pm and checkout is by 10am.

Property Access

  • Attached to the house via breezeway is a two car garage, which allows guests to drive in and enter the house without going outside.
  • Elk Camp Lodge has relatively level, paved access all the way to the front door, which is beneficial in the winter.

Policies and Rules

  • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to sign the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
  • No smoking allowed inside the home.
  • No events allowed.
  • Children allowed.
  • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
  • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
  • This home allows dogs only with an additional pet rent of $25.00 per pet per night plus tax. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. (Note: See conflict below regarding max number of dogs.)
  • CANCELLATION POLICY: STRICT: Cancellations 60+ days prior to arrival receive a full refund minus the $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 60 days of arrival will not be refunded unless the dates are rebooked to another traveler.

Fees and Payments

  • Firewood may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night.
  • Pet fee is $25.00 per dog per night plus tax. (See conflict note below.)

  • Attached two car garage allows guests to drive in and enter the house without going outside.
  • Elk Camp Lodge has relatively level, paved access all the way to the front door, which is beneficial in the winter.
  • Free parking is available.

Utilities and Amenities Access

  • Well stocked kitchen with utensils and starter set of paper products including: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and makeup remover cloths. These items are provided for one or two nights. Hair dryers are not provided. Towels and linens are provided.
  • The property has a full backup power generator.
  • The house includes amenities such as a dishwasher, toaster, pool table, high-speed internet, washing machine, dryer, stove, oven, hot tub, garden, balcony, patio, smoke alarm, and carbon monoxide detector.

Safety and Emergency Information

  • 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March). Guests visiting during winter months should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle; chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
  • If your party includes elderly guests or those requiring medical assistance, Cannon Memorial Hospital is 3 miles away.
